Daisy Fuentes Pilates For The Wii Review

Slowly, over the course of a few months, I’ve gotten back into the groove of exercising regularly. For the past few months I’ve been doing a mix of Kenpo and the Tony Horton 10 minute trainers. I decided to switch things up and try out the Daisy Fuentes Pilates for the Wii. Before now I had never played any exercising games. My first thought was hey it’s for the Wii so it has to be fun, right? Read on to see if my thoughts were spot on or not.

Daisy Fuentes Pilates by SEGA is a Wii game that is supposed to tone, strengthen, and transform your body through an interactive pilates workout at home. You get to choose from 10 core exercises and 3 skill levels – beginner to advanced. I chose to start off with beginner since I had only done pilates once in my life.

Wade 2.0 Converse Kids Shoes

images.jpegDwayne Wade, father of 2, of the Miami Heat, really knows how to design a shoe for kids simply because he is an amazing athlete and a proud father to Zaire, 5, and a baby boy Zion born on May 29, 2007.

Wade partnered with Converse to come up with a shoe that would reflect his style. Now Wade’s style can be worn by toddlers and older kids just getting schooled in the game.

Our 6 year old son recently received a pair of the Wade 2.0 black, red & white All-Star Game edition Converse b-ball shoes and he simply adores them! This new shoe goes so well with his natural athletic style on and off the court.

When I asked our 6 year old son what he thought of his new Converse shoes, he replied with, “I like them. I can run easy in them. I have super speed!”

The Wade 2.O shoes are perfect for athletic kids and kids on the go. These shoes would make great school gym shoes since they are comfortable and have good ankle support powered with Foot Strike Management Technology.

Overall our family gives this shoe a 4 thumbs up for comfort and style!

These shoes are available for around $49.99 in infant and kids sizes 1-6 and can be purchased at Footaction, Finish Line, Dicks, TSA, Modells, Hibbetts, Champs, Eastbay, and other smaller sporting goods retailers as well as online at Amazon.com

You can see the Wade 2.0 video here.

EAS Champion Bars For Kids Review

easchbars.jpgA representative of EAS recently sent us some super yummy healthy treats called Champion bars for review. These bars were developed in conjunction with the National Alliance for Youth Sports. These bars are for active kids in sports and they come in two flavors, chocolate peanut butter and s’mores. My kids and I enjoyed both flavors but I favored the s’mores ones better. They were really good (with a minor aftertaste) and had lots of protein which is great for active kids involved in sports.

These EAS Champion bars are sold exclusively at Target stores beginning this month. You can pick them up for around $4.50 per box.

We give these bars a yummy thumbs up!
