Lullaby Exercises DVD Review
Lullaby Exercises, presented by chicks-n-chickens, is a really cool exercise DVD for new moms. The founder, Darcy Novo Albrecht, saw a need for post-partum moms to exercise and bond with their babies so she created this soothing easy-to-do workout all while holding your baby. WOW!

Summer Reading Pick: The Bright Side of Disaster
The Bright Side of Disaster, by Katherine Center, is about a first time mother thrown into single motherhood. It is a realistic heart warming story that we recommend for a Summer day at the pool or beach.
Since we are approaching the last few weeks of Summer, we suggest you pick up this book today. It’s perfect for Moms who want more than your average mommy lit. I also think it’s a must read for the Moms out there that are currently parenting alone.

Oh Mama Bars!
Oh Mama Bars are nutritious “candy bars” created specifically for pregnant women. And, while I do agree that they are indeed nutritious with added DHA that does not necessarily mean they are the tastiest snack out there. Two out of three flavors were in my opinion not edible. This could simply be a case of me personally not liking anything raspberry or lemon already. However, the chocolate peanut butter Oh Mama bars were quite good and something I would definitely recommend eating if I were pregnant for the extra vitamins and minerals alone.
Oh Mama bars are $22.50 per case of 15 bars which equates to $1.50 per bar and is a fair price to pay for a nutritious snack.
All in all I give this product a 2 out of 4 thumbs up. To get a 4 thumbs up the other two flavors, Frosted White Raspberry & Frosted White Lemon, really need to be improved. In addition, more popular flavors need to be added to the Oh Mama product line. And, lastly, this is not a reflection on the Oh Mama bars brand but rather the shipping method, I received the candy bars completely melted and I had to put them in the fridge just to be able to try them out. So my tip would be to either limit shipping to very hot areas during the summer or to find a way to insulate the package so the bars will not melt.
I’d be happy to hear what our readers think of Oh Mama bars. Have you tried them?
