Lil Rinser: A BathTime Review
What Mom doesn’t have a battle at bath time when it comes to washing our little ones hair? Either the water is in their eyes or ears, or their hair falls down in their face which makes the shampoo go everywhere. Completely tragic!
Recently I received a sample of the LIL RINSER, made by Splash Guard LLC, in the mail to see if it solved some of these hair raising issues. At first glance it has the look of a teacup, with the bottom and back missing, except it is soft & flexible. My 2 girls’ immediately ran with it, and took turns wearing it as a crown. Not exactly what it was intended for, but it got them comfortable with it for me to use that evening in the bath.
I first tried the LIL RINSER on my 15 month old son, and it seemed a bit large for him. I think it needed an elastic strip across the back for babies. But most little ones are very wiggly & slippery when wet and it takes both hands with them in the tub. My girls’ however are 6 & 3, and it worked great for them. They both have long hair, which is an issue in the hair washing process. My 3 year old is a screamer when it comes to water on the head. But, the LIL RINSER did take the hassle out of tilting your head back to keep the shampoo & water out of their eyes and ears.
In all, I think the LIL RINSER was a hit in my house. It comes in 4 different vibrant color combinations, and easy to follow directions. On the down side, I think it is a bit over priced.

Crest Vivid White Night Review
A couple days ago I was walking through the toothpaste isle in our local Wal-mart store and came across the new Crest Vivid White Night. The packaging screamed professional teeth whitening, and with it’s boasts about a whiter smile in 14 days I was hooked. I didn’t compare ingredients or look any further. I just put the Crest Vivid White Night in my cart and went on. I was sucked in by the look of the box!
So far my impression with the Crest Vivid White Night: Moonlight Mint is that it is a pleasant and light toothpaste that actually does whiten your teeth. No, your not going to have professional results but it does make your teeth noticeably whiter. It is probably the best non irritating affordable whitening toothpaste on the market.
Initially, after getting the product home and reading the ingredients I was skeptical then I read the FAQ on the Crest website that gave me more information on how this product works.

The New Squid Soap By Airborne Review
Squid Soap by Airborne is a new kid’s soap with a patent pending inking dispenser. When your child presses the soap pump their hand “magically” gets inked with an orangy-red tint. They have to proceed to wash their hands until the ink is gone which is usually around 15-25 seconds. This is also the recommended hand washing time frame from the CDC.
Overall, anything that makes hand washing more effective and fun at
the same time automatically gets my praise. This mom gives squid soap a 4 thumbs up! Both of my boys are really enjoying it too. Instead of being reluctant to wash their hands they are now eager to wash their hands thanks to Airborne!
The only drawback I see to this product is it’s cost. The price honestly is not family budget friendly and had I not received this soap free courtesy of Airborne I’m not sure if I would have bought the soap. I would have probably opted for our regular Softsoap instead. I’m hoping that the price is lowered in the near future to reach more families and their kids!

DaysAgo Digital Day Counter Review
Normally when I put left overs in the fridge we rarely ever eat them mainly because I don’t know when I put the leftovers in the fridge and I don’t know how long the leftovers are good for so my time as well as the food has been wasted!
I recently came across a new product called the DaysAgo digital day counter that removes the guesswork of knowing how many days ago you opened something or put left overs away. I think this is a great idea and it certainly will work for me.
