Motts For Tots Juice & A Celebrity Contest!

From the moment we introduced juice to our kids we added water. We watered the juice down for 2 reasons. One was to cut down on the sugar, and two was to simply make the juice go further with 2 boys.  motts_for_tots_juice.jpgNow Motts offers this same thing in a convenient juice box called Motts for Tots. Motts for Tots are available in individual packs of 9 with 4 yummy flavors. You can also buy Motts for Tots in 64 oz bottles.

We were sent some samples to test out and I’m happy to report that my boys eagerly drank them up! What’s great is that they are convenient and have much less sugar than other popular juice boxes.  My boys had no idea that the juice was diluted. Did you know that Motts for Tots contains 40% less sugar than regular juices AND no artificial sweeteners?

Overall, Motts for Tots individual juice drinks are great to take along on vacations, trips, play dates, shopping, and to put in your kids lunchboxes. We even took them along with us on our trip to a local amusement park.  Since we don’t buy boxed juices on a regular basis in our home, Motts for Tots were a fun and healthy treat for my two boys! These products are available at most local grocery stores for $3.99 or less. Right now you can print off a $1 coupon from the Motts website here.

Now for The Contest:

Motts for Tots has teamed up with Celebrity Mom, Tori Spelling (btw I LOVED her on 90210) , to bring Moms a fun downloadable play date planner on the Motts website. This is a free planner filled with lots of fun ideas and activities for play dates. I really liked the play date themes for boys and girls complete with matching menus!

Now for the fun part…

Napkleen.. to the Rescue

Who needs stain remover when you have Napkleen?

As a Mom of three,  I am always looking for ways to keep my children’s clothes protected from spills. So when asked to try the new Napkleen disposable clothing protectors, we gladly accepted.

Napkleen clothing protectors

My 6 year old happily volunteered to be as messy as possible while eating. YAY!! To get started she pulled the adhesive backing away, and simply pressed the adult size Napkleen protector on to her shirt. It surprised me at the  list of spills that stayed off her clothes, and on the cloth protector. From juice, gravy, toast & chocolate cake, the Napkleen stood up to the test through liquid and crumbs. What didn’t make it to her mouth was caught in the fold out food catcher, which really saved some clean up from the floor also. The best part, was seeing how clean her clothes were after she finished.

Where to buy: In all, Napkleen was a sure hit in our house. Visit www.napkleen.com to choose from a variety of styles and sizes, and to see how many other ways the wear & toss protectors can be used.

For Parents Only Book Review & Giveaway!

A Mom’s Review is taking part in the For Parents Only blog tour today.
Before I get into the summary I wanted to point out a quote from the book that reallyfpo1.gif resonated with me (and is something I think parents really need to “get”) is:

I wish I could really know that, no matter what stupid thing I did, my parents would be there to hear me out and support me”.

Read below for a complete summary and a chance to win this informative parenting book for parents of pre-teens & teens.

Shaunti Feldhahn is known for unlocking the mysteries of relationships for men and women. Now she turns to a parent’s relationship with a child, particularly a child of the opposite sex. Drawing on the results of a nationwide survey of kids and teenagers, she explores questions such as:

* What do moms need to understand about the “tough and tender” boy who values respect over love?

* What do dads need to understand about their daughter’s need for affirmation?

* What are the six biggest pet peeves teens have about their parents?

Understanding the answers to these and other important questions can help parents make the holidays a time of celebration and unity, not strife and friction.

For Parents Only offers a unique look into a child’s mind and frees readers to communicate in healthier ways as they discover that understanding their kids may not be as complicated as they think.

GIVEAWAY: A Mom’s Review is giving away 2 copies of For Parents only to 2 very lucky readers. If you want to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post.

Rules: legal US resident, 18+, void where prohibited and an email address must accompany your comment in the form (not in the comment itself). Deadline: December 5th,2007 11:59pm EST.
