AirDrives Earphones For Kids Review & Contest

airdriveskids.jpgThese days most kids have an iPod, mp3 player, or other portable device with earphones. As parents, it is our responsibility to protect our kids ears and to teach them the importance of safety when using earphones.

Recently AirDrives offered to send us a sample pair of kids earphones to review. The kids AirDrives are different from regular earphones in that they are gently placed on the outside of the ear. These earphones are designed to bring music to your life rather than blocking everything out with loud music. The volume is also set to max at a lower volume so as not to allow for hearing damage. Overall, A Moms Review recommends AirDrives earphones for kids even though they are way overpriced.

Would you like to win a set of your very own AirDrives for kids? Earth Day Kids Book: William Is Going Green

william.gifWilliam Is Going Green by author James Martin II is a fun and educational new book series that introduces William the garbage truck. This first book about William the garbage truck comes just in time for Earth Day. This eco-friendly book for kids ages 3 through 8 is a great way to teach kids about “going green” for Earth Day and every day! This book also shows kids ways they can help save the planet in a few fun and easy-to-do tasks.

Wild Animal Crunch Cereal

wildanimal-crunch1.jpgIn a normal week, we probably eat cereal for breakfast 2 times. However, cereal for our family is not just a breakfast food. We like cereal for quick snacks in between regular meals as well as bedtime snack so we are always on the lookout for yummy yet nutritional cereals we can all eat together. Sadly, these days most of the stuff out there is pure sugar. I’m not saying that we don’t occasionally eat the sugar cereal but we try not to eat it all the time.

When Kelloggs contacted us to try out the new Wild Animal Crunch cereal we were quite excited to try it out. Kelloggs has partnered with Animal Planet to bring us this healthy and educational cereal.

As soon as we got the cereal both boys were mesmerized by the baby seal box cover. It sure was cute! The boys tried a few bites of the cereal and discussed all the things on the box (which they really enjoyed btw!). Within a few minutes I was pouring them a bowl of Wild Animal Crunch cereal with rice milk.

Overall, everyone agreed that the cereal was delicious. We absolutely had to buy it when we saw it in the grocery store this week! Since the cereal has 14 grams of whole grain and less sugar than most other cereals. I’m satisfied! This mom recommends Wild Animal Crunch cereal.

Where To Buy: your local grocery store or online Kellogg’s Wild Animal Crunch Cereal, 11-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Baby Banz: Cute Protection For Your Baby’s Eyes!

stacker-1.pngWith Summer coming along in the next few months, sunscreen and sunglasses are popping up everywhere. Baby Banz are considered the ultimate in kids sun protection for the eyes and we have to agree. Recently Baby Banz contacted us to review their sunglasses and since we spend an insane amount of time outside during most months, Baby Banz sounded perfect!

After receiving Baby Banz in the mail, our 3 yr. old was eager to try them out. He kept them on for an hour or so while playing around the house. We immediately discovered that these sunglasses truly solves the problem of sunglasses constantly falling off your precious little one. Additionally, Baby Banz offers full protection against UV rays, and they come in a multitude of colors.

Overall, A Mom’s Review recommends Baby Banz! They’re inexpensive, cute, and offer great protection.

Martian Matter: Crafty Kid Space Toy

My 7 year old son couldn’t stop talking about Hasbro’s Martian Matter after he’d seen a commercial for it during a Spongebob episode. So, for his birthday a month ago, he received this gift from his grandparents.

The Martian Matter set comes with the alien maker spaceship base,14 alien body halves,martianm1.jpg 3 containers of meteor mud (which is strikingly similar to Play-doh), 3 tubes of Lunar Lava gel, and accessories.

When I first saw the commercial for Martian Matter I assumed this would be another toy we threw in the trash because it didn’t work the way it was supposed to.

Upon first glance, making your alien seems harder than it is. However, once we set up the Martian Matter toy everything was so easy that even our 3 yr. old son was making creations on his own. We made several aliens on our first night with this toy and this toy is one of the most used toys in the house right now!

What’s great about the Martian Maker toy is that it doesn’t require electricity and it’s non-toxic. Plus there are so many creative things you can do with this toy.

Overall, A Mom’s Review recommends Hasbro’s Martian Matter because it promotes creativity, it’s non toxic, and it’s remarkably fun! This is another fun find!
