Here’s a fun and inventive new way to use a carton of eggs for Halloween. We love it! It can also double as your Halloween centerpiece! How cool is that?
The Happening, by M. Night Shyamalan, is an eco-thriller of sorts about a husband (played by Mark Wahlberg) and wife (played by Zooey Deschanel) on the run from a mysterious and invisible killer. People are committing horrifying suicides all over and no one knows what exactly is going on.
Halloween is upon us which means many families are carving their pumpkins this week. So what are you going to do with all the goo once you carve your pumpkins? You can roast and eat them! Yummy! I have a recipe for all your pumpkin seeds after you have carved your pumpkins. How about chocolate coated pumpkin seeds?
Pathology now on DVD is a very slick, twisted movie without morals. It is pleasantly disturbing to watch, if gory and pervasive horror movies with extreme violence and sexual fetishes are your thing. But be warned when I say disturbing, that is putting it lightly. For example, people have sex at a murder scene.
A few weeks ago we were in Wal-Mart when we came across the cutest light-up Halloween–themed product line by Litewear. If you don’t already know what Litewear is let me fill you in. Litewear incorporates motion-activated LED lights into apparel and accessories that light up as the wearer moves. All of the items are also machine-washable too!
Paramount Home Entertainment’s hottest new Super Hero movie, Iron Man, is now available on DVD! Iron Man starring the incredibly talented come-back star, Robert Downy Jr., is one of the coolest comic book movies to ever come out. With high-speed action in nearly every scene this movie is pure entertainment perfect for families with kids age 7 and up (even though it’s rated PG-13 for intense scenes and suggestive content). Young boys everywhere are going to love this charming robotic superhero!
In Tucker’s Spooky Halloween, by Leslie McGuirk, Tucker the miniature white dog is tired of being something cute on Halloween. This Halloween Tucker is determined to be something scary even after his owner buys him yet another non-spooky costume. Share in Tucker’s delightful adventure as he gets creative and finally scares away some trick-or-treaters. Dog lovers and kids alike will enjoy this entertaining book about a dog’s quest to be something different this Halloween.
In Where’s My Mummy, by Carolyn Crimi, baby Mummy wants to play Hide and Shriek one last time with his Big Mama Mummy before bedtime. Kids will adore this fun read-a-loud adventure book just in time for Halloween or any dark spooky night.
