The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning Review + Printables!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen The Little Mermaid. In fact, I don’t think my kids have ever seen the movie considering they are 7 and 4 year old BOYS! However, they both love ocean creatures so I thought the new & limited Disney DVD The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning would be a good fit for them! So, yesterday afternoon we pulled down the shades and watched the movie on our projector!

Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus Best Of Both Worlds Concert 3D on DVD

hannah3dconcertdvdboxart.jpgIf you didn’t get tickets to the sold-out Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert for your kids or if you didn’t get to see the limited movie in theaters then you don’t want to miss this DVD because it’s the next best thing for little girls (boys too!) everywhere! Walt Disney presents Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert The Movie! What’s even more fun is that it’s a 3-D movie and this 2 disc extended edition comes with 4 pairs of 3-D glasses.  A bonus is that you can also use these glasses for other 3-D movies!

For the first time ever Miley performs as both herself and Hannah Montana in the same epic show.  Your kids will be dancing and singing along to this movie from the moment it comes on screen so be prepared and be tolerant of the screaming wildness that will surely ensue!

First Miley’s alter ego Hannah Montana rocks out then the adorable and likeable Miley takes over and sings her own songs with 16 songs in all. She is joined by the Jonas Brothers for a few songs including one I actually know and like, Year 3000.

Overall, Miley Cyrus fans and most girls ages 4 through 14 will really enjoy this 3-D movie. The bonus scenes, sing-a-longs, and 3-D effects will not disappoint!

You can buy the movie today!

Where To Buy: Amazon here: Best of Both Worlds Concert: The 3-D Movie

or Wal-Mart, Amazon, Target, Kmart, etc.

Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake

Pure enchantment best describes the feeling I got while viewing the Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake DVD.

Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake

After a year long search brought them much disappointment, two amazing Moms from New Jersey set their passions to creating their own live performance ballet videos that would warm the hearts of children (and adults).

Mary Kate Mellow and Stephanie Troeller certainly put a new twist on this classical favorite. Featuring segments of the Paris Opera Ballet performing Swan Lake, and budding ballerinas in tutus from the School of American Ballet, Prima Princessa is great for ballet lovers of all ages.

This 40 minute video introduces you and your child to the art of ballet. Narrating each scene is one very chic animated Ballerina that kept both my girls on their toes and twirling around the room. With easy to learn dance moves including pirouettes, arabesques, and jetes your lil’ ballerina will soon be full of spins and giggles too.

Prima Princessa is an overall winner in our house, and we look forward to seeing more of what these aspiring Moms have planned in the future.
