Children’s Book Review: The Day Leo Said I Hate You!
If you’ve ever heard yourself saying “No!” to your kids one too many times you’re certainly not alone! A new picture book for children, The Day Leo Said I Hate You!, by Robie H. Harris addresses this issue in a beautiful way. In the book, little Leo is constantly being told no all day long and then after many “no’s” and no “yes’s'” Leo blurts out to his Mom, “I hate you!”. I’m sure this issue is something every parent will eventually be faced with. Luckily for me, my time has yet to come.
This is a great book to open up discussion of your child’s feelings, and I suggest reading it out loud to your children irregardless of their age.

Recently Publications International contacted us to review their Record a Story book line and we agreed. I’ve seen these record-a-story books out in stores but had neglected to purchase any because we already owned some of the regular book titles.
Essentially the Record a Story books are books that have a recording feature where you can record yourself reading the story. Then when your child turns the pages they will hear your voice reading the story.
