Making The Moose Out Of Life Kids Book Review
Making the Moose Out of Life, from author Nicholas Oldland (Big Bear Hug), is a new picture book simply about living one’s life to the fullest.
In the beginning, Moose is afraid of doing just about anything that is the least bit risky. Soon he begins to realize that something is missing in his life. Upon this realization that something is missing, he decides to set sail which turns out to be both a disaster and a blessing after he becomes stranded on a deserted island. During his stay on the deserted island he experiences lots of new things and has lots of fun in the process! In the end, the Moose realizes that what he is missing out on is his life.
Overall, this is a great inspirational book to read to your children. It shows children to not be afraid to take risks, and that we should all make the most out of the life we have. I’ve read this book to both my 6 year old and 9 year old sons as part of our homeschool read-a-loud/literature time and they loved it!
