The Magic School Bus And The Climate Change Earth Day Giveaway! Win!

We’ve been fans of The Magic School Bus book series from Scholastic ever since we started homeschooling a couple years ago because they are educational and lots of fun at the same time! It’s amazing how much kids can learn from one of these books!

Recently, the authors of The Magic Tree House Series released a new book, The Magic School Bus And The Climate Change just in time for Earth Day! In this book, the eccentric Mrs. Frizzle takes the students on an adventure from the Arctic to the Equator to show them the telltale signs of climate change. This is a great book to include in your Earth Day reading list for the kids. It’s also a great book to get your kids involved in going green in a fun way! To enter to win you must leave a comment below sharing your favorite Magic School Bus book. If you’ve never read them then tell us one you’d like to read to your children.

For one extra entry you can follow us on Twitter and tweet about the giveaway. You can do this once per day throughout the duration of the giveaway period. Just make sure you tell us in the comments section what you did so we can count all your extra entries. We’d also love it if you’d fan us on facebook, although it’s not required for an entry.

Rules: You must be a US resident 18+, void where prohibited by law. (international readers can enter if they have a friend in the States who can accept their prizes by mail.) You must leave a valid email address in the comments section. We will not use this email address for any reason other than to contact you should you win this contest.  The deadline to enter is Earth Day Thursday April  22nd, 2010 11:59 PM EST. Three winners will be chosen at random. If the winner does not claim the prize within 7 days an alternate winner will be chosen.     My daughter and my favorite book is The Magic School Bus Hops Home, A Book About Animal Habitats. She loves all of the great pictures of the animals in their homes, the kids, and the bus. I love that she is learning about where animals really live,not just in zoos or pet shops.

    In the book the class pet, Liz, a lizard, accompanies the class on their field trips.
