Disney’s The Princess And The Frog DVD Review + Giveaway!

My 5 year old son has been talking about Disney’s The Princess And The Frog ever since he saw a commercial about it. We didn’t get a chance to see the movie when it was in the theater so we were excited when we received an advance copy for review.

Disney’s The Princess And The Frog centers around a hardworking waitress named Tiana who is saving money to fulfill her Daddy’s dream - which was to open up his very own fancy restaurant. Set in 1920’s New Orleans The Princess And The Frog is an enchanting story filled with love, magic, and dreams just like all the other Disney princess movies. When Tiana kisses the frog she unexpectedly turns into a frog herself, and together they go on a fun-filled adventure in the Louisiana Bayou to get out of the frog curse!

My son loved the music, the talking frogs, and the Alligator! Overall, this is probably my favorite Disney princess movie to date next to Cinderella! Disney’s The Princess And The Frog will be available on DVD+Blu Ray Combo and DVD starting Tuesday March 16, 2010. We definitely recommend The Princess And The Frog for family movie night despite the controversy surrounding the movie. Check it out and enjoy the movie for what it is! Great for both girls and boys! My boys 5 and 9 loved the movie!

Blu Ray & DVD Combo Pack Features Include:

Deleted Scenes, music vide by Ne-Yo, The Princess Portrait Game, and so much more.

Even though I’m 21, I still sit down with my son and 13 yr old sister to watch the best of Disney. All the princesses are favs, but we’ve voted Mulan as the best one (is Mulan considered a princess?) She shows strength and honor, breaking the rules to save her father and having her dreams realized in the end….kind of like our # 2 fav, Jasmine, in Aladdin.

  23. Tricia on March 20th, 2010 1:34 am

I grew up with Cinderella so she’s still my favorite princess. Thank you
