In this sequel, Larry (Ben Stiller) is a successful business man who no longer works as a museum night watchman. Upon visiting the Museum of Natural History, Larry finds out that his museum friends are being moved to the Smithsonian archives in Washington, D.C. It is then that Larry must go back to his former role of night watchman to help his comes- alive-at-night only friends including the very adorable Jedidiah (Owen Wilson). In this adventure, Larry must find a way to save Jedidiah and all his museum friends from the outrageously funny Egyptian Pharaoh Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria) who wants the tablet to unlock the gate of the underworld in hopes to take over the world. Overall, Night At The Museum 2 is much funnier than I expected it to be. There are so many great scenes - most of them including Kahmunrah - that it’s hard to pick just one favorite! In addition to laughing uncontrollably, kids will learn a history tidbit or two. This movie would make a great stocking stuffer and is perfect for family movie night!
