Gettington.com is a new online shopping site that is geared towards helping families manage their budget by providing easy payment choices. The Gettington shopping website is different from other shopping sites in that they offer you 3 different ways to pay, and they share the breakdown of those payments instantly with each item you add to your shopping bag. For example, you can make a one time payment, 3 monthly payments, or 4 monthly payments. 
When you choose the Fast option or the Easy option you are required to sign up for a Getting credit account. With the Gettington credit account combined with the options you are given, you pay less overall for your purchases. At the bottom of your payment options you can clearly see how your options compare to a standard Visa/Mastercard.
What We Like About Gettington:
Prices are comparable to other shopping sites. One item that I purchased was significantly cheaper on Gettington than anywhere else I looked online.
I’m impressed with the functionality of the site. It’s very easy to find what you want.
The payment choices are truly a better deal than using a “standard” credit card.
I’ve seen several promos for everything from free shipping to various discounts. This is great for us Moms who are always looking for additional ways to save money.

What We Don’t Like or What Can Be Improved On Gettington:
Shipping is a bit high. Had I not had a promo code for free shipping over $49, my shipping costs would have been around $23. Yikes!
There were not enough products to choose from in the kids clothing/footwear section, baby section, or the Women’s clothing section. I’d like to see a bigger variety to choose from there.
Conclusion:
Overall, while I don’t prefer the use of credit cards, with the Gettington payment choices you truly are getting a much better deal. Whether you choose to make a one time payment or use one of the options provided, your overall total payment is only a few dollars different and sometimes it really is easier to make payments rather than to pay for something all at once. If you are someone who needs to make payments in order to stick to your budget I suggest checking out Gettington.com

Payment options are great but, what about those who don’t have good/decent credit or cannot take on anymore payments? The ones who pay in full should receive some sort of discount. Afterall, you have a % rate (Extra cost) to use the payment options, reward those who don’t.
What I like is the ratings. I feel more comfortable ordering that way. What I see though is a busy sight which tends to be overwhelming for me. thank you

I like how after you add something to your shopping cart it calculates up all three of the payment options you have to show you the different scenarios you can use. Really helpful in figuring out how you want to pay.

What I like is that the spread out payments seem very reasonable on the interest rate! I do use a credit card with a low balance, so sometimes it would help to spread out payments over a few months.

I like the layout of the home page. A lot of the time on sites like this, I see really unorganized and clutter home pages. Additionally, it’s nice to see that it has customer reviews, great product descriptions, and a large variety of products. I will definitely be coming back here to do my Christmas shopping.

As a mommie there are a few items that I would like to have for myself but can’t justify spending the money. For example an Ipod has been on my list for years but I can’t see blowing $200 on myself. I could break that down into $20 per month payments with Gettington. That I could spend on myself. Very tempting.

They have a great variety. However, their top drop down menu would be better if it subdivided there rather than opening another page and then subdividing.
I like the variety as well as the gifts for him, her etc feature. Yes, the shipping is a bit high. I found it easy to get around the site. The one thing I did not like was the pop up that appeared wanting me to do a survey. I hate those things. If they want my opinion they can email me about it at a later time.
I liked the coupon codes on the home page, but i think they need nore variety of brands. I was in the boys shoes section and would have liked to have seen some cute skater shoes. And I didnt like the pop-up survey…. they should have a link instead so people can choose it it they wish at the checkout.

I think the site has a nice layout. However, something that i think that could use some improvement is the jewelry section. I think that there should be more rings in 14k white or yellow gold. I love many of the products, and the flexible payment plans are convenient. However, one super-helpful addition to the site would be a wishlist function! I was sort of shopping for other people, but saw many things that *I* would like Santa to leave for me!! If there were a wishlist I could keep track of all the little things that caught my eye, and I could even send my list to my husband for a few clues…hehe!

Wow, the Gettington site is great. It’s easy to navigate and has so many ways to narrow down the list of possible items. Such as, price, customer rating, and age. They’ve done a wonderful job.
The only thing that bothered me was when I added a queen sheet set to the cart it didn’t say that the item had been added. So, I clicked on it again and there still wasn’t an obvious alert that it was in my cart. That’s when I noticed that the items were listed in the top right corner and I now had two sheet sets in my cart. It would be nice if it said something like, “such and such item has been added to your cart.”

I love the layout and the color scheme of the site it resembles the corporate type layout of other retail stores online which makes me feel more secure in purchasing from them versus a yahoo built store etc. I would, however, really like a “What is Gettington” button large enough to see to explain what the site is really about to new visitors or perhaps a guided tour upon entering the site for the first time.

I like that they offer tabs for most popular items and Season’s Hottest toys. Both are great for this time of year. I like the discounts on the home page for easy access, and to let the customer know they exist. I like the easy to navigate tabs at the top and how overall well the entire site is organized. I also love the great photos throughout. Another thing that may seem small, but to me is a big thing, is I like the vibrant colors everywhere…not overwhelming, but uplifting.
Free shipping on orders over $49 is a big deal for me. Often, the shipping costs prohibit me from buying things online, so I always look for places that do offer deals.
