Apple & Eve Fruitables Review

When you have a child who is allergic to almost everything you really worry about their nutrition.  Are they getting the fruits, vegetables, and vitamins they need? So, when we found out about Apple & Eve Fruitables we had to try them out.

What are Fruitables? Apple & Eve Fruitables are juice drinks that have one full serving of fruits and vegetables per juice box. There are no artificial ingredients and no high fructose corn syrup.  Fruitables come in a variety of flavors such as Berry Berry, Peach Pear, Apple Carrot, Strawberry Kiwi, and Berry Banana.

When my two boys initially tried Fruitables I was surprised by how much they liked them. I actually thought Fruitables would taste more like V-8 juice (which my kids do not like) however I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Fruitables are a new staple in our home because it’s a yummy way to sneak in those fruits and vegetables that my youngest son really needs. Plus they’re only around $3 for an 8 pack! You can also get money saving coupons by signing up for the Apple & Eve newsletter.

Overall, with Fruitables you can rest assured knowing that your kids are getting  what they need in a tasty drink. These juice drinks are great for kids with food allergies as they are dairy-free,  gluten free and hfcs free! If you want to sneak in an extra serving of fruit & veggies then we think Fruitables is a great way to go!

Where To Buy: Fruitables are available online, Wal-mart, & Costco. Check your stores for availability.

I purchased this juice for my 7 yr old son, and he suddenly had diarrhea and vomitting for a few days. I didn’t think it was the juice and he kept on drinking it. Not until I realized that he had nothing else new in his diet, I stopped him from drinking the juice and he stopped throwing up and his diarrhea stopped.

I find Fruitables at Fred Meyer. I like in Idaho so I do not know how wide spread Fred Meyer stores are. I am 28 and I LOVE them. I imagine a child would like them as well.

I always find them at my local grocery store (which is Hannafords) and I believe I’ve seen them at Walmart (especially when it’s a super Walmart). Just try going to your local grocery/or store website to see if it’s on the site… Not everything is always listed, but it’s a thought!
