Sauipe Swimwear: Jalama Bikini
Bathing suit season has ended here in most of the United States. However, it’s never too early to shop bathing suits for next season. Plus a tropical destination or warm indoor pool may be in your near future and you need to look good, right?
Sauipe Swimwear, a Brazilian inspired swimwear company, recently asked us if we would like to try out one of their suits. Since the opportunity arose right before I left for vacation to the beach I couldn’t say no. Plus I was interested in how these supermodel-ish suits (they were featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition magazine this year) compared to the basic swimsuits that most of us Moms wear as far as comfort, usability, and style.
Sauipe Swimwear offers both full piece suits and bikinis in a variety of rich and styles with a conservative Brazilian cut. Their latest collection includes 9 different groups based on trendy prints and colors. There are so many cool suits that it’s really hard to choose just one! The Summer 2010 collection is also available now for viewing on the site as well.
These suits while made for supermodels are just as usable and comfortable on us non-models…yes, even Moms! 
The suit I received – the Jalama- is a simple yet unique bikini with a supportive double string bottom. I felt very comfortable in it which means a lot when you are a Mom of two running from the pool to the beach several times per day. You can see me and my cutie pie to the left!
Coming from someone who strictly shops Victoria’s Secret for swimwear, I really like this suit and look forward to wearing it more! Sauipe is definitely one of our newest favorite places to shop for swimwear and we recommend it to stylish Moms and non-Moms everywhere!
This is a “pricey” item but since most people normally only buy one suit for an entire swimsuit season, I think it’s definitely worth splurging on!
