Every year as Halloween approaches I get excited about all the new Halloween books available for my kids to read. This year we were sent a few books new Halloween-themed books from Candlewick Press to review. Today I’m going to share with you our favorite, And Then Comes Halloween. And Then Comes Halloween by Tom Brenner is a captivating and whimsical Halloween story about a young boy’s perspective and anticipation of the Halloween season from early Fall to trick or treat time. The words on every page are descriptive, and really bring out the feelings I experienced as Halloween approached when I was a child. The illustrations are perfect and truly convey the feeling of book. This is a fun book that you will want to read to your child over and over all the way up until that much anticipated day - Halloween!
