Delgo DVD Review, A Fantastical Animation for Kids
Fox Home Entertainment presents Delgo on DVD this month. If you are looking for a CGI animated kids movie that’s a bit different than the mainstream animated movies then Delgo just may be what you are looking for. Delgo centers around two rival alien races, the Lockni and Nohrin, living on the fantastical planet Jhamora. When a teenage Lockni, Delgo, forms a forbidden friendship with a Nohrin princess, the two races become even more hostile towards each other. In the end Delgo’s friends come to his rescue and together they unite the Lockni & Nohrin. Overall, I must say that while the animations are stunning, and I enjoyed looking at all of the magical creatures, I found the story line to be a bit boring and puzzling. On the other hand, my 8 year old son really likes this movie and has watched it 3 times already. Preteen boys & girls who enjoy science fiction/fantasy movies will probably really enjoy Delgo. Delgo is worth renting for family movie night to see how you and your kids like it. I guarantee you won’t find anything else like it.
