GoPicnic: Ready To Eat Meals For Families On The Go

Let’s face it - most of us Moms are super busy and some days we rely on fast food or convenient pre-packaged meals for our kids lunches. The bad thing with many of these meals are that they are so unhealthy. So, what do you do when you want an easy solution yet you don’t want to sacrifice nutrition?

We’ve found the GoPicnic line of ready-to-eat meals to be a good alternative. The GoPicnic meals are a line of 20 + convenience meals that require no refrigeration. There are several varieties to please almost everyone including the MightyMunch Kids meals, vegetarian meals, gluten free meals, Kosher meals, and more. Take a look at the GoPicnic website to see all of the varieties of delectable meals to choose from.

What We Like About The GoPicnic Meals:

1. The meals are HCFS-free & have no artificial colors or flavors.

2. All of the meals are trans-fat free.

3. My 8 yr old son approves of them!

4. The meals are tasty as well as healthy!

What We Don’t Like About The GoPicnic Meals:

1. Our biggest issue is the price of each meal. Each meal has an MSRP of $4.99-$6.99 per meal (with the exception of 1 breakfast meal ).  Personally, I think paying that kind of price per meal is unrealistic for most families since the average cost of a kids lunch is much lower. Edited To Add: Right now you can get 20% off your order with this code: GPMOMS

2. The meals are not as food allergy friendly as one would assume especially if you have a child who is allergic to corn, dairy, and soy.

Overall, the GoPicnic meals are a good solution for anyone on the go who wants a nutritious snack. These would be great for those long car trips, picnics in the park, or school. Would I personally purchase these meals for our boys’ lunches everyday? Probably not since I think the price is out of our budget and our 5 yr old son is allergic to many of the ingredients in several of the meals. However, I would consider buying a few of the GoPicnic meals for field trips, camping trips,  and vacations.
