T.J. Maxx & Marshalls Spendervention

By now most of you have probably seen the fun “spendervention” commercial featuring both Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Every time I visit my family in the city, the first place I go is to Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Every time we go on vacation and need something the first place we look is Marshalls or TJ Maxx. So, when we were asked to share our very own spendervention story we were happy to participate.

As part of the Marshalls & TJ Maxx Spendervention campaign we were given $25 to spend at each store and then share our finds!

From Marshalls:

I bought a set of newborn onesies with cute sayings like “Little Squirt” for my Sister who is due with baby #2 in August.

1 pair of Jelly Beans Brand sandals,

A University of KY cap

A pair of Transformers sandals

A pair of sunglasses for my sister.

From TJ Maxx:

I bought myself a cute dress, a US map floor puzzle toy for the boys, Transformers Pajamas, and a few books.

With both Marshalls and TJ Maxx you can find lots of cool items for little money, and you don’t have to wait for a sale or coupon. Did you know that both TJ Maxx and Marshalls get 10,000 new items each week and 95% of it is the same quality you find in a department store? If you didn’t now you do. Cool, huh?
