Pillsbury Brownie Minis: A Yummy Review
It’s always fun getting food mailed to your home for you to test especially when it’s chocolate. I just wish there was more of where that came from. ![]()
The folks at Pillsbury recently sent us their newest product - the Pillsbury Brownie Mix to try out. Pillsbury Brownie minis come in chocolate fudge and milk chocolate.
Here are my thoughts:
PROS:
1. These brownies are just as delicious as the other Pillsbury brownies except they fall apart a little.
2. Only 150 calories for 2 mini brownies.
3. Kids LOVE that they are cupcake shaped and mini. Makes them even more fun to decorate!
4. You only need to add water and you are ready to bake!
CONS:
1. Like I said above, they fall apart easily.
2. Too much extra packaging. While I like the convenience of the mini cupcake baking trays it just adds to the extra garbage especially since they are NOT reusable. We of course have figured out a way to re-use ours. We are using them for paint trays. Good idea huh?
3. You don’t get nearly as much brownie mix with this package so if you are feeding a lot of kids then you should skip this!
Want to surprise your kiddos with some fun mini treats? Then we suggest you give these new Pillsbury Brownie minis a try. The suggested retail price is $2.49 per box.
Where to Buy: Available nationwide starting June 2009.
