PBS Character Caillou’s New Books + Win A Caillou Book Package!

I adore Caillou from PBS. There I said it. I ACTUALLY LIKE CAILLOU. My 4 year old son does too. So, when we were asked if we would like to try out some of the new Caillou books we jumped at the chance. There’s nothing like good free books! Well, except free trips!;)

Caillou: My Book of Great Adventures (Treasury Collection) includes 6 different titles into one big book. Some of the titles included are The Picnic, Favorite T-shirt, and At The Amusement Park. Each of the stories in the book shows how Caillou (a 4 year old)Â is learning about his world.

Caillou Boxed Set (Backpack Series) includes 5 small individual books. Kids may notice that they’ve aleady seen these stories on TV.Â Some of the stories included are Caillou Puts Away His Toys and Caillou Sleeps Over.

Caillou: My First Vacation (Lift-the-Flap Book) is a softcover lift the flap book. It’s an interactive book and children just love lifting the flap!Â This book shares Caillou’s first vacation experience. This would be a great book to share if you and your children are getting ready to go on a vacation.

Caillou Where Is Teddy? (Little Dipper) is a fun and sturdy board book for younger children. This would be perfect for a 2 year old. In this book, Caillou loses his teddy bear. This story shares how important a special toy is to a child.

Caillou ABC Train (Puzzle Book) is a book and puzzle combo. My 4 year old son is fascinated with putting puzzles together right now so it came as no surprise that this book would be his favorite.Â This book is great for teaching a child the alphabet in a really fun way. The puzzle pieces also come out to create a 4 foot long alphabet train!

Overall, each of the Caillou books offers a different lesson for 3 - 5 year olds. The illustrations are simple yet vibrant - perfect for the targeted age group! The Caillou books are great for preschool children and honestly what’s great about Caillou is that he is realistic.

This would be so great to win! My kids have just started enjoying it. I like how it is one of the slower-moving cartoons and that there is very little conflict, so it doesn’t get too intense for the little ones:)

My son would love these books! I read to him a few times a day and he will get mad if I don’t! He will grab a big pile of the ones he wants and snuggle into me and with such patience and interest listen to me read his favorite books. He would rather me read to him than watch TV!

My son loves loves caillou! He watches it everyday. He can sing the theme song and knows all the characters by name. Even Gilbert the cat! Not bad for a two year old. I would love to win some books so I can share them with him. He loves to look at books and I love to read to him. I was just thinking the other day that he needs some Caillou books!

My 3 year old daughter Jaydin loves PBS! And she especially loves Caillou! My family looked everywhere for Caillou movies, and we’ve only been able to find one. Of course, I regret ir a little now, since we watch it over and over and over again! But, her happiness is all worth it! She’s getting more into books now, and winning this would be absolutely wonderful!
