The Tale of Despereaux DVD Review + Win

Universal Studios Home Entertainment presents The Tale of Despereaux a story about a brave and very cute big-eared mouse (voiced by Matthew Broderick) from the Kingdom of Dor who gets kicked out of his home for being different than all the other mice. He then joins his rat friend Roscuro on a quest to rescue the princess and save the entire kingdom.

Overall, The Tale of Despereaux is a perfect selection for family movie night and it is now available on DVD. I have to admit that I’ve already watched The Tale of Despereaux two times with my boys because its such a heartwarming story.

I’d like to see the movie because I read the whole book in French and absolutely loved it. One of the best kids books I’ve read in a while (I try to read them in French if possible, to keep up my comprehension)!

My husband also loves cute animated movies–seeing Ratatouille was one of the high points of our honeymoon, it inspired us for cooking, etc.

I probably wouldn’t keep it if I won, I’d give it to one of my friends with kids, ask around to see whose kids might be interested. I just need to get off my butt and actually see it.

I would love to win this movie as it would make a great movie to watch during one of our Family Movie Nights! My older boys (9 and 11) and I have all read the book and LOVED it! When the movie was out in theaters, we wanted to go but with our newborn, we didn’t make it unfortunately!
