The Haunting of Molly Hartley DVD Review

Going into the movie, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, I had very low expectations due to bad reviews I had read online and from what several people had told me. However, after the first few minutes I was surprised thatÂ The Haunting of Molly Hartley had caught my attention.

Basically, the movie centers around Molly (played by Haley Bennet) who is starting over at a new school after her Mother attempts to kill her. She continues to have nightmares and visions and thinks that she has inherited her Mother’s illness but that is far from the truth in this psychological thriller.

Though not a very believable storyline, I ended up liking the movie anyway. A bonus is getting to watch the very cute Chace Crawford (from Gossip Girls) throughout the movie.

DVD Bonus Features Include: Interviews with the cast, crew, and the director Mickey Liddell.

This movie is rated PG-13 and parents should use caution and watch the movie first themeselves before deciding whether this movie is right for their child.
