RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream Review + Win!

In the past I have tried several wrinkle minimizing creams that simply just didn’t work as advertised. So when I heard about the ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream I was skeptical but also interested after hearing rave reviews elsewhere.

Here it is a few weeks later and I’ve been using the ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream as part of my nightly skincare routine, and I honestly feel like there is a difference in my skin. My skin feels smoother and I’m starting to see some discolorations go away.

My concerns with this product is that it should be used with care because it will quickly burn your skin if you use too much. You also need to use a sunscreen and moisturizer during the day to counteract the drying that this product causes. Also, as per my experience it is important that you do not put this product under your eyes or around your eyes. Overall, this is an affordable wrinkle-reducing product if used correctly. However, if you have really dry skin or sensitive skin then this product may not be for you.

  53. Sylvie W. on March 15th, 2009 11:58 am

    Hello, everyone.

One almost completely free beauty trip is to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Your body will thank you.

I’ve also found petroleum jelly to be a multi-purpose product. By the mega-tub store brand for a savings. Just it on your lips when at home for baby-soft and chap-free lips. Use it sparingly on your elbows, knees and soles of feet.

  54. Heather S on March 15th, 2009 12:26 pm

I use the Equate version of Johnsons Baby gel aloe vera and Vitamin E. This jel keeps your knees and elbows smooth and will help heal minor scratches. The equate version is much cheaper then the Johnson’s and is identical.

  55. Jessica Gugel on March 15th, 2009 12:37 pm

I’ve been using this for years and love it. I also use the day cream. One of the added benefits of Roc is that it helps acne. A friend of mine has a teenage daughter who had very bad acne. She gave her Roc to use and it cleared it all up.
My beauty tip is to wash your face morning and night and to always use a good moisturizer.
    Thanks for the contest.

  56. GENEVIEVE WARREN on March 15th, 2009 1:29 pm

I use a well known day care and night care cream on my face but it is quite expensive! I would love to have my whole body skin as good as my face!! But I would love to economize if your product is cheaper> I’ll check in the drug stores. However sunscreen is also very important when you will be outdoors for a while>

Do you have samples………I would test them, as you can see I am very practical!!!!!

My favorite and very affordable beauty tip is to 1-2 a week take a large dollop of your favorite facial cleaner in the palm of your hand and add 1 tsp of regular oatmeal to it. Mix it up and massage it gently onto your wet face for about a minute. Rinse it all off with warm water and Viola! Instant natural exfoliation and your face will feel so super soft and silky and your makeup will glide on beautifully. Oatmeal is gentle but effective and very inexpensive! Hope someone here will find this useful!

Using olive oil on your face as a moisturizer is a great way to keep skin soft for a great price. It is absorbed very quickly into the skin. It also works good all over your body. Soaking your feet in warm water and olive oil and then scrubbing them with a pumice stone, and putting lotion on them will leave your feet feeling amazing.

  145. Christie on March 22nd, 2009 3:12 am

Use organic honey as a facial. It’s very moisturizing and refining to your skin.

I wash my face before I go to bed and every morning I wash and put baby lotion on my face LOL!! I kind of got into the habit of doing this only because I’m so busy with my kids that after I run around getting them ready, my hands are all in their lotion anyway from wiping them down in it so I just wipe my own face down!!

Don’t wash your hair everyday. It strips the natural oils out of your hair and adds money for the water bill. Try to wash every 3 days and learn how to style your hair for the two “no wash” days.

  172. Marianna on March 23rd, 2009 6:47 pm

    Always remove makeup before bed!

  173. Salleefur on March 23rd, 2009 7:25 pm

Drink LOTS of water - for both health and beauty. Really! (It moisturizes from the inside out!)

Vaseline / or petroleum jelly works great as a night treatment for your eye area and lips. (But carefully wash/wipe it off in the morning if you wear any eye makeup.)

And I agree with Terri, unless you REALLY must - try to wash your hair only 2-3 times a week - it will be much more healthy and lusterous when you you don’t strip the natural oil out (and drinking water helps here too…)

  174. Cynthia Wohler on March 23rd, 2009 7:44 pm

Every night I use Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion (an astringent). It may seem expensive (around 15-20 now I think), but the bottle it comes in is very large and it lasts me for months. It is amazing because it gets off all the day’s dirt and grime and cleanses my face without drying it out. It works out to costing only a few dollars a month, so it is worth it to me. Thanks!

You can get alpha hydroxy creams and vitamin e creams at Walgreens for $2.99. Some times you can buy the creams for a couple of bucks that have the ingredients that have been proven to fight wrinkles, rather than buying one bottle of $100 cream. Other ingredients to look for Vitamin K crams (cheap, like a couple of bucks). Anything with peptides.

I have used the OLIVE NIGHT CREAM (from the Made from Earth skincare line) for almost two months now and I have seen a dramatic difference in my skin.

I am 56 years old, and while my skin is in good condition, at this age, you need products that perform. The Olive Night Cream did it for me.

When I wake in the morning my skin is so soft and smooth, like baby skin. Wrinkles are definitely diminished, especially near my eyes where skin is particularly vulnerable. I HIGHLY recommend using Made from Earth’s brand Olive Night Cream. This new product helps your creams and serums to work even better, by removing the dead cells and encouraging cell turnover.

It is amazing. That combined with the Rooibos Tea Face Scrub is almost guaranteed to make your skin look younger and fresher.

Try these. You will not be disappointed!

you can find them at http://www.madefromearth.com
