Great Stocking Stuffer Ideas ‘08: Kids DVD Movies
This December there are several new movies coming out or already out on DVD specifically for kids. Many of these new movies would be great as gifts and great for family movie night. Since there are so many, we wanted to share a list of some really cool ones all in one post that we think kids are going to enjoy and would also make great stocking stuffers! We’re featuring movies for toddlers up to older kids!
The Flight Before Christmas is one of the cutest new holiday movies featuring impressive CGI animations . Niko the little reindeer has dreams of becoming like his father, and as he goes on his journey you will see that the movie sends a wonderful message - believing in yourself! This is a must-see DVD this holiday season. It is sure to bring you lots of laughter and joy! Parents and kids will be surprised by the dark storyline but overall it’s lots of fun! 2. Unstable Fables: Tortoise vs. Hare
The Jim Henson Company brings the classic Tortoise vs Hare story to life in this fun animated DVD. This time around the Hare is determined to make sure that the Tortoise doesn’t win again in this entertaining rematch. This is definitely a fun movie for the whole family. Featuring the voices of Drake Bell and Jay Leno. Available in stores and rental locations now.
3. Power Rangers: Jungle Fury - Into the Jungle
In these 2 DVDs (vol 1 & 2) there are two new adventures where the Power Rangers have to defend the world against evil and fight unimaginable beasts. These are definitely a must-see for the ultimate Power Ranger fans. Available in stores and rental locations December 16, 2008

5. The Longshots
The Longshots centers around the first girl football player and her misfit teammates in a small town. Inspired by a true story, The Longshots is a great family film. Parents and their children will really enjoy this heartfelt and entertaining movie. 6. Horton Hears a Who (Widescreen and Full-Screen Single-Disc Edition)
One of Dr. Seuss’s classic stories comes to life in this new highly-entertaining animated film. In this film, a pachyderm named Horton discovers a beautiful microscopic city and embarks on an adventure to save the town. One of the better kids movies of the year featuring the voices of the hilarious Jim Carrey and Steve Carell. Available on DVD and in rental locations December 9th, 2008

If you love dogs then you are going to LOVE Beethoven’s Big Break. In this film, Beethoven the stray dog auditions for a Hollywood film after the star is dog-napped. 8. The Goldilocks and the 3 Bears Show
The Jim Henson company presents a new twist on the original Goldilocks tale. In this new movie Goldilocks is a reality tv star and she goes to the home of the 3 bears to film her next movie. This one is lots of fun for the kids. Available in stores and in rental locations December16th, 2008
Orphaned elephants Zef and Tutu embark on an amazing journey to find a rainbow. Along the way the make friends and team up with more fun animals. Together they discover that anything is possible.
