Shrek The Halls DVD Review + We’re Giving 1 Away!

During the holiday season last year we had the chance to watch the Shrek The Halls tv special on ABC and our family fell in love with it. It became an instant classic for us (and as it turns out the rest of you liked it quite well too*) so when it came out on DVD last week we were thrilled!

If you haven’t had the chance to see it and love Shrek then you’ll love this hilarious Shrek-style Christmas holiday movie. Let me give you a bit of a synopsis but since it’s such a short movie I won’t go into more detail. In Shrek The Halls, Shrek tries to create the perfect Christmas for his family. When he finally figures it all out, his friends, including Donkey, Puss in Boots, and Gingy, crash the holiday festivities. At this point, hilarity ensues!

Overall, A Mom’s Review recommends this as fun for the whole family this holiday season! It’s definitely going to be part of our holiday movie watching tradition right between Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty The Snowman. Yes, it’s that good!

This is a fabulous Christmas movie. Our family can’t stop laughing at the gingerbread man scene… I’ll leave it at that.

my kids would really enjoy this dvd and my husband also would the shrek movies have adult humor as well as kid humor if are children watch them in 20 years they would see a totally diffrent movie that’s why we love all of the movies we enjoy them so much

In order to get my grandson to eat vegetables, I made an asparagus/zucchini/spinach soup. It actually was delicious and he ate it and has been eating his veggies this way since! He calls it “Shrek Soup”. He LOVES Shrek!
