“Are you free tonight?”
Deception is an intense and erotic psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Ladies this is one movie to watch with your husbands. There are plenty of suspenseful plot twists that will keep you guessing right up to the very end. Just when you think you got everything figured out the movie throws another curve ball at you. This thrilling movie won’t leave you disappointed.
Here is a quick synopsis without giving much away. John McQuarry (Ewan McGregor) is a non-social, un-confident, nerdy accountant. After working late one night in the office John meets a high profile lawyer named Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman). Wyatt is the exact opposite of John. Wyatt portrays power and confidence, and is quite the party animal. Wyatt wants to “loosen up” John’s anti-social behavior. Wyatt introduces John to a sex-dating club known as “The List” by purposely switching cell phones with him after an evening of them hanging out. Later that night John receives a cell phone call asking him, “Are you free tonight?” Of course John says yes and meets the caller at a hotel where he enjoys no-questions-asked sex with a beautiful woman. John begins answering more calls and having more sex with many different beautiful women. But soon John’s sex thrill ride comes to an end when he becomes the prime suspect of a woman’s disappearance and a multimillion dollar heist.
