Cakes by Me: Make Professional Looking Cakes At Home + A Contest!

bobmuckcake.jpegWhen my boy’s birthdays roll around I usually order their cake from the bakery because I’m just not that great at decorating cakes. I figured I should just leave the cake decorating to the pros. That is until we tried out Cakes By Me. Their cake kits made cake-making easy and fun! Anyone can now make the perfect cake!

If you haven’t heard of Cakes By Me then let me be the one to fill you in. Cakes By Me is a business that offers consumers cake decorating kits complete with everything you need to make a beautiful themed cake for any occasion.  There are over 50 fun kits to choose from even some of the most popular kids character favorites such as Spongebob, Disney Cars, The Little Mermaid, Dora, and more!

Cakes By Me sent us a Bob The Builder cake decorating kit in a super cute box complete with cake mix, frosting, edible scene, and decorating supplies. They only thing we had to come up with was an egg and some water.

I let the boys decorate the cake how they wanted so it would be more fun and here is how it turned out!

bobcake1.jpg

Overall, the cake turned out delicious and we had lots of fun with this cake decorating kit. These kits would be great for birthdays, baby showers, graduations, and more! You could even give them as unique gifts to kids that LOVE to cook like mine do!
