When my boy’s birthdays roll around I usually order their cake from the bakery because I’m just not that great at decorating cakes. I figured I should just leave the cake decorating to the pros. That is until we tried out Cakes By Me. Their cake kits made cake-making easy and fun! Anyone can now make the perfect cake!

Cakes By Me sent us a Bob The Builder cake decorating kit in a super cute box complete with cake mix, frosting, edible scene, and decorating supplies. They only thing we had to come up with was an egg and some water.
I let the boys decorate the cake how they wanted so it would be more fun and here is how it turned out!

The Horses Cake Kit Item #07-245 is relaxing to look at and cake is always enjoyable to eat. My home is western themed, my husband is true a true Marine cowboy at heart, and I know he’d love this cake. The Marine emblem cake is great too. It’s great the cake comes in chocolate, my fav. The Horse Cake would be perfect! We have a house full of Horse lovers. I made an elmo cake for my daughters 2nd birthday. It turned out so cute, and so fun to make. My grandson just graduated from The Backyardigans and is now totally enthralled with Disney’s Car Movie. Your CARS-MCQUEEN RACE SCENE cake is really cute and I know would bring a big smile to his face and anything that makes him happy, makes Nanny happy. I really love the happy Birthday cake #1! It really gets you ready to celebrate! It would be wonderful to do that cake for my son who will turn 2 in Nov. Being as though he was a preemie and made it this far calls for a celebration!!!!

My 2nd daughters birthday is Sept. 9. She will be 9 yrs. old. She wants me to put horses on her B-day cake. She also collects horses. So the horse cake would have to be my pick. It would be alot easier to put plastic horses on than try to hand draw one myself. She would also be able to tell what it is.
