We were recently given the opportunity to review the Begin Smart Developmental Book Program for babies and toddlers. In the Begin Smart series of books, each set is carefully leveled by age and ability. The book sets are newborn to 6 months, 6 to 12 months, 12 to 18 months, and 18 to 24 months. Each set of books are perfectly structured for the age range, as well as encourages the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of babies and tots.

After reading one sample of each set to my son, I knew immediately that Begin Smart was the one of the best interactive book choices for parents. With the Begin Smart books, I feel like I’m really connecting, communicating, and interacting with my son one on one rather than just having him listen to a story. These books give you the opportunity to do so much more than just read to your child. Each book also shares way to read the book to your baby and also what skill/milestone is being taught as you are reading to your child.
