Definitely Maybe Contest
From the creators of Love Actually & Notting Hill comes Definitely Maybe, a romantic comedy that focuses on a father recounting to his daughter how he met her mother.
Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder, The Nines) plays a 30- something dad and he does a great believable job as usual. His performance is real and convincing even though he looks amazingly good/young as the father of a 10 yr. old.
I first noticed Ryan Reynolds in The Nines and have liked him since so if you are a Ryan Reynolds fan then you’ve got to see this movie.
Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) plays his cute & curious daughter. She does a fabulous job. There are a host of other characters including his love interests that make this a great realistic love story movie.
Overall AMomsReview.com fell in love with this movie and think it’s a great flick for girls night out, couples, and for those about to wed. Definitely Maybe is a winner!

Well, nothing major for my story. My husband and I are high school sweethearts who began dating in 1991…
He presented me with a ring and proposed to me in 1992 over ice cream. I accepted and we were married in 1993.
Since we were still in High School (well, I was a a Senior to-be when we married - he had graduated) we planned a church wedding at my small-town church and just had a small honeymoon night downtown Nashville. In 1996, we decided to do a bit more for ourselves and ran off to the mountains for a small romantic honeymoon and had another ceremony at a wedding chapel and spent the weekend up there, alone.
We started our family in late 1997 and now have two kiddos! We celebrate 15 years of marriage, this year! Woot. I’m still in love with him, very much.
We love to watch romantic movies together and I’d love to win this movie pack for us! Thanks for the chance.
My then boyfriend came to visit for a long weekend (July 4th). My father is old fashioned and wanted to be asked before proposed to, JL knew this. Thanks to the AC dying over a 90+ degree weekend I fell asleep on the floor and he had time to ask without me knowing.
The next day we went mini-golfing, to dinner and then I wanted to go back inside to rest. JL insisted that we go for a walk under the stars. When we were almost back at my house he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
My entire family knew he was going to pop the question and were waiting for him to finally do it.
Thanks for the fun giveaway!
My boyfriend and I had talked about getting married for about a year, but I told him I wouldn’t allow myself to even think about it, plan anything, even buy one wedding magazine until it was official. He planned a week-long vacation in Myrtle Beach, so I knew he was going to pop the question.
When he proposed he offered me the ring, and when I said yes, he gave me my first wedding magazine. (Needless to say I’m a magazine junkie and work for a magazine, so the gift was very appropriate!)
I later found out that he had the ring made from a family heirloom and shipped to the hotel. When it was finally finished and mailed off, it arrived on the final day of our vacation. He was so nervous it wasn’t going to get there in time!
Well, our engagement did not go as planned for my husband. I had just returned from a family vacation. I wondered if something was up as just before we left he had put one of my rings on his finger— Uh, hello- size 7 told you before!!
A huge part of our life and relationship was centered around his softball league. So after the game when I had returned we got into the car and he nervously asked me to marry him. After the tears and a huge YES off to the ER we went.
Apparently the plan was to propose to me during the 9th inning and the whole team was in on it but during the 7th my husband got injured very badly.
Exciting engagement night to say the least- x-rays and ultrasound machines and a pretty delicate pear shaped ring!

I met my hubby online in October. December was the first time we met face to face. He drove 5 hours from Oregon to WA to take me to my company Christmas party. When we got back to my apartment after the party he dropped to one knee & proposed right then. I said yes & 5 months later we were married. It’s been 10 years now & we are happier than ever!
This is a true story, which started out fairytale, but ended in a divorce! My ex and I went to church on Christmas Eve and then he took me on a horse and carriage ride in downtown Houston. It was freezing and we were snuggling in the blanket and he started telling me how much he loved me and how he couldn’t imagine life without me and we were both crying and he proposed. I said yes. It was beautiful and I am thankful for that memory, but it didn’t work out for us in the end.

I had a new camera and wanted to test it out at the local butterfly garden. I was walking around in my own world snapping away. He went around to the end pretty fast and kept coming back and forth, so I wandered over with him. In between pictures I saw a flower like some that he had made me before (w/various papers, paint, etc.) on a long dowel and stuck in the ground. Being the bright person I am I started to say, “Hey! That looks like the flowers you make!” Then I saw the ring in the center of the bud and turned and he was on one knee. He had gone over before he picked me up and the ladies working let him in early to “plant” the flower and hept an eye on it. I’ll never forget it. He’s so sweet!
My hubby didn’t propose but we always knew he would just say let’s go get married and he did the day I was divorced from my 1st husband, that’s the day we got married! But it was sweet cause now I’m reminded of a new beginning and not the end of a sad 1st marriage!
My hubby didn’t propose, we just knew he’d marry me, but what I didn’t expect was on the same day I was divorced from a sad 1st marriage. So instead of having a reminder of a day of long awaited dread, I’m now reminded of a new beginning with my lovely husband!
We had talked about getting married for some time, but I didn’t think that it was going to be anytime soon. One night we were outside talking and he gave me one of those little things you get out of the quarter machines that was supposed to have a toy ring in it. When I opened it up it had a real diamond ring in it. By the time I had looked over at him again, he was down on one knee. He took my hand and asked me to marry him. We have been married for 5 years now and we have 2 little boys. I will never forget that night!

My husband just told me the story of our lives together, raising kids, growing old, wrinkled, fat and senile. Then said he would love me thru all of the tough times, then proposed.
My husband is not the romatic type. He just popped the question while we were doing dishes after dinner. It was OK because it is just the way he is. And the way he is, is just fine.
My husband proposed to me on Christmas Eve. He had wrapped up a bridal magazine and gave that to me as a present. When I opened it, I just kind of looked at him and then he pulled out a diamond ring from his pocket. I said yes!
I would love to be able to have a very traditional proposal when it happens. The diamond in the wine glass at dinner or the ring wrapped up in a huge box under the Christmas tree. But as long as the proposal is sincere, it doesn’t matter how it arrives. I would still like to be a little bit suprised.
I never gave much thought to how I wanted to be proposed to, what I didn’t want was for someone to get down on his knee and propose to me. My husband knew me better than I even knew myself. He was always bringing me little gifts when we went out. I would always tell him that he didn’t have to do that. I loved him no matter what.
On the night that he proposed, he came over for our Saturday night, stay at home, have dinner, and watch a movie night. He was busy in the kitchen making popcorn. He put the movie in and gave me the bowl of popcorn. I noticed that it was a huge batch of popcorn. As I was eating down to the bottom of the bowl, I saw a blue velvet box in a plastic bag in the bottom of the bowl. I pulled it out and looked at him
He took the bag from me, took the box out and got down on one knee in front of the sofa. I just threw my hands up to my face and tried to get off the sofa. He pulled me back down and said “The popcorn was buttery, but you’re not going to slip away that easy. As he opened the box, he asked me to marry him.
I just lost it. It was the most beautiful and wonderful thing anyone had ever done or said to me. How could I have never wanted a one the knee proposal?
DCMerkle
He didn’t really propose, we just both agreed to get married. It was fast and crazy, we were teenagers.
my husband proposed on a hill at bear moutain in upstate ny we were only dating 4 months and I had no idea he was even thinking marriage. Ten years later (tomorrow) 2 kids and one major illness and we are still very happy.
A great proposal would be “wanna go to Vegas “. Have fun, no stress and when you get back have a party
My husband just asked me if I want to get married, I replied certainly.
I am not married yet but if I am fortunate enough to get engaged I would like the guy asking me if I want to marry him at a major sporting event or at the beach asking if I will marry him by taking out a sign on one of those airplanes. Those are two ways I would like to be proposed to. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win. Thanks.

As holidays approach, families focus on getting together to spend quality time. For this reason renting an apartment is best choice as it gives you enough space to your family. An apartment fits very well in your pocket because it is cheaper than hotel rooms.
