The latest recall to come about is the Curious George plush birthday doll. Sadly, we have
this doll but luckily our son has never played with it. I guess his disinterest has paid off.
There are other Curious George dolls involved in this recall too including the fireman, sweet dreams, and tool time CG dolls. These dolls are being recalled due to the amount of lead in the surface paint on the doll’s face and lead in the construction hats on specific dolls.

It is just horrible that there are so many toys that have been recalled this year!
I found an excellent site where you can search for all these toy recalls IN ONE PLACE (not hunt through multiple manufacturer sites) it’s called http://www.RecalledToyAlert.com.
You can also register to get the recall alerts e-mailed directly to you as they are announced.
I am an early-bird shopper (I buy Christmas present all year long) so I ran my entire toy list through their search and I now know that all the toys I have are safe … with one exception … I do have an Aqua Dots Studio that is sitting in my car trunk waiting to be returned to Target.
