If there is one book out there that you should pick up for your children and yourself it is I Love You More. Buy it for a birthday! Buy it for Christmas or buy it just because.

I Love You More ,written by Laura Duksta and beautifully illustrated by Karen Keesler, is a wonderfully simple and sweet book about love. It shows what love looks like from both a parent and a child’s perspective.

The moment the book arrived in the mail, I opened it up and read it sitting in between my two sons. We read it from front to middle then back to middle over and over a few times. Then my oldest son looked to me and said, “I love you more than anything!” So my youngest son turned to me and gave me a big kiss. After that it became a competition of who could give mommy the most hugs and kisses. Little did I know that this book would spark such emotions.

This book is powerful and appealing with both it’s pictures & rhymes. One of my favorite quotes from the book is:

I love you fuller than the fullest moon you ever knew.

I love you brighter than the brightest star ever shone.

I love you more, so much more than you’ve ever known.

I Love You More is one of our new favorite bedtime books.
