A couple days ago I was walking through the toothpaste isle in our local Wal-mart store and came across the new Crest Vivid White Night. The packaging screamed professional teeth whitening, and with it’s boasts about a whiter smile in 14 days I was hooked. I didn’t compare ingredients or look any further. I just put the Crest Vivid White Night in my cart and went on. I was sucked in by the look of the box!

So far my impression with the Crest Vivid White Night: Moonlight Mint is that it is a pleasant and light toothpaste that actually does whiten your teeth. No, your not going to have professional results but it does make your teeth noticeably whiter. It is probably the best non irritating affordable whitening toothpaste on the market.

Initially, after getting the product home and reading the ingredients I was skeptical then I read the FAQ on the Crest website that gave me more information on how this product works.

Yes. In fact the Crest Vivid White family is our best whitening technology available today. Crest Vivid White and Crest Vivid White Night contain a different whitening technology than Extra Whitening. Sodium hexametaphosphate has been shown to be very effective at helping to remove extrinsic stains and protecting the teeth from future staining. Crest Extra Whitening has a different type and higher level of silica. This has also been shown to be safe and effective for stain removal.
