There’s a great website for 8-14 year old girls called
mypopstudio.com. Girls go “behind the scenes” of media to learn about
the music, t.v, digital, and magazine industries through playing
games. For example, girls can learn about the music business by
creating their own popstar, and watching her perform a song. Girls can
also edit their own reality t.v. show to learn about how shows are
created. Girls who register earn points for every game they play. I
enjoyed it very much and learned a lot from the games that I played!
