Normally I’m not the kind of person who would even think about tasting the Metamucil Fiber Supplement but I was offered some for free to try so I said Yes like any nice person would do!

I was sent the NEW Metamucil Berry Blast. Metamucil is a fiber supplement or you can call it a fiber laxative. Metamucil has been clinically proven to lower cholesterol and is heart healthy! That alone makes me want to drink it!

I mixed my Metamucil Berry Blast with lemonade and I’m going to be honest and say it did not taste all that great! In fact, I poured most of it down the drain. With that being said, I know the product has good intentions. It just doesn’t appeal to my taste buds! However, my 6 year old son wanted to try it and I let him. I gave him the “kid dose” in some lemonade and he drank it all up! He even wanted some more! But, oh no, I was not giving him anymore since it has that laxative effect!

Overall, this is a product I would not purchase for myself unless it came in a better flavor…maybe apple or lemon. I’m sure many that already use the plain Metamucil will be thrilled with the new flavor! For those of you, like myself, who cannot adjust to the flavor and texture that Metamucil brings, I suggest Fibersure. Now that’s a winner!
