Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten is a must have book for every child getting ready to attend Kindergarten. Each page introduces a different skill in a simple easy to understand manner with attractive colors and pictures that kids will really like.
Some skills included in the book are:
Telling Time
Understanding a calendar
Story Order
Money
Counting to 100
Knowing the alphabet & being able to identify the alphabet in a mixed up order.
When I introduced the Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten book to my son, he soared through it. The only areas in which he was not proficient were telling time with shorthand and longhand, and remembering our telephone number as well how to dial the number. This skill has since been learned and our son has called our cell phone several times while my husband and I were out on business yesterday. Thanks Linda & Stacey!
I’m glad we’ve had the opportunity to review this book and see how well our son is prepared for kindergarten. This book is a great tool. All public school systems should be giving this book to kindergarten students upon registration before school starts. In addition to this already being a great book, the authors are giving 10% of the profits to literacy programs.
You can order Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten for $15.00 at Cedar Valley publishing or Amazon.

As a teacher and the mother of a four-year-old, I am amazed at what Kindergarten students are expected to know even before they ever enter the classroom. I agree with the reviewer’s comment that: “All public school systems should be giving this book to kindergarten students upon registration before school starts.”

My daughter just started preschool, but I figure it’s never too early to start going over basics…

I’ve been homeschooling my daughter (Kindergarten) this year and it’s been great. My son (almost four years) has been itching to get started and so we have. I read the reviews for this book and the first grade one and love them! I’m going to do a post on my blog too.

My daughter is already trying to get ready, she’s even teaching herself (yes herself) how to read. Okay, I’m helping a bit. I think she’d love this book.
