Late Night Talking Review
Late Night Talking is a fiction novel by Leslie Schnur. Normally, I’m sent very few fiction books to review so I was super excited about being given this book to review for the Late Night Talking Mothertalk Blog Tour.
Late Night Talking is the kind of book that you can get lost in. It’s about romance, it’s about finding your soulmate, and it’s about doing the right thing!
Late Night Talking centers around the life of a late night talk show host named Jeannie Sterling. Jeannie is all about calling out other people’s bad behavior on her talk show and in her day to day life from talking on a cell phone too loud in public places to littering. If you like romantic and love-filled books about finding Mr. Right in strange ways then this book is definitely for you!
While I wouldn’t say that I was as over the top about doing the right thing as the main character in Late Night Talking, I can definitely identify with this character considering how terribly rude people really are these days. Now I’m not an activist nor would I go as far as Jeannie did when she ran into the fountain telling the homely man to not steal other’s people’s wishes but I do believe we should all do the right thing (whatever that may be).
I suggest you pick up a copy of this charming love-filled book.
Nascar Baby Review
Nascar Baby, narrated by Jay Leno, is a Nascar-themed DVD for Nascar enthusiasts that want their kids to become NASCAR fans as well. Nascar Baby is from a line of sports-themed educational DVDs aimed at babies and toddlers. If you love NASCAR you will surely love this cute-as-can be DVD! If you have a child under 2 that is really into cars then Nascar Baby would be a great gift for them too!
Overall, we give Nascar Baby from Team Baby Entertainment a thumbs up for educational value and entertainment all in one! Your baby will be exposed to colors, letters, shapes, fast cars, and more! It’s kind of like Baby Einstein with cars! How cute is that? Nascar fans everywhere will love this!

Garage Sale America: A Review
Garage Sale America by Bruce Littlefield is a fun to read kind of book. It’s delightful and brings on so many memories from my simple childhood. I remember going to, and arranging many yard sales as a child. Yard selling always has been an exciting and nostalgic thing for me!
This book has come along at the right time since Yard sale/Garage sale or whatever you wanna call it sale, is upon us! There are yard sales everywhere in my community. You will find them on the side of the road, in yards, in parking lots and inside buildings!
Garage Sale America has really gotten me into the yard sale spirit. This book also gives a listing of the most popular yard sales across America, and Kentucky(my home state) is home to some of the biggest yard sales around. However, you’ll have to buy the book to see when and where these yard sales are taking place this year.

Berry Blast Metamucil Review
Normally I’m not the kind of person who would even think about tasting the Metamucil Fiber Supplement but I was offered some for free to try so I said Yes like any nice person would do! 
I was sent the NEW Metamucil Berry Blast. Metamucil is a fiber supplement or you can call it a fiber laxative. Metamucil has been clinically proven to lower cholesterol and is heart healthy! That alone makes me want to drink it!
I mixed my Metamucil Berry Blast with lemonade and I’m going to be honest and say it did not taste all that great! In fact, I poured most of it down the drain. With that being said, I know the product has good intentions. It just doesn’t appeal to my taste buds! However, my 6 year old son wanted to try it and I let him. I gave him the “kid dose” in some lemonade and he drank it all up! He even wanted some more! But, oh no, I was not giving him anymore since it has that laxative effect!
Overall, this is a product I would not purchase for myself unless it came in a better flavor…maybe apple or lemon. I’m sure many that already use the plain Metamucil will be thrilled with the new flavor! For those of you, like myself, who cannot adjust to the flavor and texture that Metamucil brings, I suggest Fibersure. Now that’s a winner! I’ll be reviewing it in the coming days so check back to read all about it!
