Playskool Toddler Flip Top Cup Review

pkcup.jpgCVS Pharmacy & Playskool have teamed up to bring Moms a new line of innovative baby care products. These products can be found on the CVS website as well as in the CVS Pharmacy stores nationwide.

Now when parents pick up a prescription at CVS Pharmacy they can also pick up diapers, wipes, bottles, and more baby care products.

I was recently given the Toddler Insulated Flip Top cup to review. This cup has an easy to hold design. It also has a soft silicone straw that is gentle on toddler’s gums and teeth. The great thing about this cup that is boasted about on the package is that it’s spill proof. Liquid only passes through when the child sips. Many sippy cups say they are spill proof but I’ve experienced that most aren’t spill proof as they say. However, I can vouch for the Playskool flip top cup truly being spill proof as my son used it as his water cup in bed.

My 2 year old son instantly fell in love with the flip-top cup and design. Since he liked it so well, and since it performed so well I have nothing but praise for this straw sippy cup. It also keeps cold drinks cold like the package says and we think that’s great especially since the warm weather is on it’s way.

Overall, we give the Playskool flip top cup an A+ rating for being one of the better sippy cups out there. This cup is currently the only cup our son will drink out of . At the low price of only $3.99, you can stock up on a few of these cups. Use them in your home, during traveling, and keep one at grandmas house.

Come back again this week to see our review of a few more of the new baby care playskool products line at CVS Pharmacy. Better yet, go to your CVS Pharmacy today and see what they have to offer. I’m sure you will be pleased.

I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE BEST CUP!!! MY 11 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER HAS NEVER CAUGHT ON TO SIPPY CUPS SO I FIGURED I WOULD TRY THIS ONE BECAUSE IT HAS A STRAW. WELL THE MINUTE WE GAVE IT TO HER SHE WAS HOOKED AND MY DAUGHTER DOESNT HOOK ON TO THINGS EASILY. WE LOVE THIS CUP AND IM DEF GOING TO BUY MORE.

I used a cup exactly like this (although it had a different brand name and was bought at Wal-Mart about 4 years ago) with my daughter.
They are the best. I did notice that the kind that I had were taken off the market, but now that I’ve found them - I will definitely get some more to have on hand for the new little one we are expecting.
When my Daughter (now 5) was training to use a cup - it was great. No spills or leaks - and I never had to worry about taking it in the car.

I’ve been using Walmart’s NUBY flip top straws, and they work well, but I have noticed that they tend to leak after awhile. I will be trying out Playskool’s flip tops and see if they work better - thanks for the heads up! :)

The Nuby cups (Target, Babies R Us) definitely have problems with leaking. The Playskool cups have been much better. We have to cut the straws to discourage a toungue thrust and you can’t do that with a Nuby cup. (But you can with these.) They come in insulated and non-insulated…I think it’s a better deal to get the non-insulated since the drink doesn’t stay much colder and you lose some volume.
