Kaboom Bowl Blaster Fun!
If you hate cleaning, you are gonna love this product because it’s so much fun to use. A representative from Kaboom sent me 4 different Kaboom products to try out and this one was my second favorite. I’ve already reviewed the Kaboom NeverScrub Toilet Cleaning system here and today I’m reviewing the Kaboom Bowl Blaster.
The Kaboom Bowl Blaster is a powerful water-activated foam that does all the hard work for you. It’s really a fun bathroom cleaning product to work with. You pour it into your toilet and watch the magic happen. Can you tell I don’t lead an exciting life? Or maybe I’m just easily amused by products like this. Then, a few moments later, the foam reaches the top of the toilet and does all the cleaning for you!
Overall, as a mom who is short on time, I TOTALLY recommend this product plus it makes bathroom cleaning sort of fun.

Fruity Cheerios and a Giveaway!
My family was recently sent some samples of the Fruity Cheerios by General Mills to try out. We normally like the plain or honey nut cheerios but we are also fans of sweet fruity cereals such as Fruity Pebbles so I thought this particular cereal would be something we’d like to try.
And the verdict is in: We love them! We’ve eaten 1 1/2 boxes in 2 days. So, yes, they are great and what’s even better is that they have 25% less sugar than the OTHER fruity cereals. You can also taste the corn and oat in Fruity Cheerios which makes it stand out and brings a unique flavor to this cereal.
Overall, our family give this cereal a big thumbs up (from a mom, a dad, and two kids under 7).
And, now for the fun part. YOU can have a chance at trying them out too. I’ve got 10 boxes of Fruity Cheerios to be given away. Reading With Babies, Toddlers & Twos
If you are like me, you love reading and you love reading to your child. You know how important it is as well as how entertaining it can be. However, there are many parents out there that don’t realize this and need an extra boost in reading to their babies and toddlers. Reading with Babies, Toddlers, and Twos is a great guide book on reading. This book can help you choose when, why and what to read to your baby, toddler or two year old child. It’s also an excellent reference book for parents who already love reading to their child. In essence, this book is a great guide for new parents as well as parents who’ve been reading to their kids for a while.
This book offers up book suggestions based on several categories such as books for bed time, books for sharing, potty training, art for babies, books for first day of school, books for a pet dying, and book lists for many more things! Some of these book suggestions can be used for older kids too.
I’m fond of all of the different book lists and suggestions. There are so many great books that I hadn’t heard of before that I know both of my children will love. I’m going to look around today to see if I can find a few books off of the book lists!
The Sneaky Chef review
I recently received a copy of the NY Times best-selling book, The Sneaky Chef. The Sneaky Chef is an unusual recipe book for Moms to hide healthy ingredients in foods that our kids already love.
This is a fun book with lots of ideas, recipes, and easy instructions on how to get your kids to eat healthier especially if they are already picky eaters. Both of my boys already eat reasonably healthy but there are a few recipes from the sneaky chef that I could incorporate into our everyday meals that would give them an extra boost of nutrition without them even knowing it.
For instance, we love brownies. I usually buy the boxed brownies from the store and have recently been replacing the oil with water & applesauce or apple juice. Now I can add spinach, wheat germ, and blueberries (with all of their wonderful nutrients) to this snack without anyone ever knowing. Sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it?
There are over 75 kid friendly recipes included in this book with easy to implement step-by-step instructions on how to sneak in more healthy foods into your child’s diet. Some favorite kid recipes included are: Spaghetti & Meatballs, chocolate chip pancakes, and pizza!
You never have to feel guilty about giving your kids these foods again because they will be filled with nutritious ingredients such as spinach, beans, sweet potatoes, broccoli, blueberries, and more!
If you have a picky eater, then this book was written for you. You can order a copy of The Sneaky Chef here.
You can also enter to win a KitchenAid Food Processor at the Sneaky Chef website every month.
The Fun Book For Moms Review
The Fun Book For Moms by Melina Gerosa Bellows, editor of National Geographic kids, was sent to me for review. The Fun Book For Moms offers 102 ways to celebrate family.
While reading through the book, I found myself laughing at some parts and giving a silent “me too” at some of the truthful feelings presented by the author in the beginning of the book. The fun book for moms gives readers fun ways to celebrate their day to day life with kids. There are many simple activities as well as extravagant activities from watching a thunderstorm to taking your child shoe shopping in Paris.
One of my favorite ideas from the book is on page 69. It says:
“Regard Your Children as Buddhas sent here to teach you the lessons you need to learn in life. Lessons kids are Zen Masters at:
Living in the moment, trying everything, never holding a grudge, never judging, and being curious about the world”
I’m glad I was given the opportunity to read and review this beautiful book. You can order the hardcover book from National Geographic for $12.95. I give this book a big thumbs up! Additionally, I think it would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift.
