Brothers & Sisters on ABC Review

A New tv show started this season on Sunday nights called Brothers & Sisters. It actually took the original time slot of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s a family show for adults, not kids.
I was hooked on Brothers & Sisters from the moment I saw an episode preview. I knew that Brothers & Sisters was my kind of tv show. It’s about family…specifically a dysfunctional family with struggles as well as happy endings.  It’s real.  I adore the show, the cast, and the music.
And now that Rob Lowe is joining the show I think it will make it even more interesting. With the high powered cast that Brothers & Sisters has, it can’t do anything but good.  Watch Sunday nights on ABC at 10pm EST.

Step 2 Double Easel Review

My boys love crafts. They love writing, chalkboards, and markers too! The Step 2 Double Easel that their Nanny got the oldest one a couple years back is  perfect for them to use and play together with. It sits right beside my desk. The Step 2 double easel is also very sturdy and of good quality since we have had it for almost 4 years and it is as good as new. I’m thinking this easel will last through 1 or 2 more kids. :) At only $39.00 it’s a great deal if you have kids that adore arts & crafts time like mine.

Wal-Mart Photo Greeting Cards Review

Each Christmas season I get greeting cards with my kids photos on them. Every year I choose the Wal-mart photo center mainly because it is the most accessible (the only) store to me. I can upload my photos online and pick up my order within an hour at my local wal-mart that is just five minutes away. The wal-mart photo greeting cards are also inexpensive and have lots of cute and professional looking designs to choose from. We chose the Charlie Brown one this year and everyone adored it.

Maybe next year I’ll venture out and try a different service or maybe not. Why change something that works for me even if everyone else is hating on Wal-mart right now?

Rose Art Washable Markers Review

It’s no surprise that my toddler loves to mark all over things. He is in love with art right now. I went to the store and picked up some Rose Art Washable Markers and they are just terrific! They really do wash off things easily and I’m not so terrified when my toddler walks around the house with them in hand. I feel confident that if he marks on something that it will come off. Of course the packaging does say that it may not come off of a few things and I understand that. They are not magic. The Rose Art Washable markers are also fairly priced at around $2.24 . We got a great deal!

Dirty Jobs TV Show With Mike Rowe Review

It seems strange to be reviewing a discovery channel tv show called Dirty Jobs but there’s a point as to why I’m doing it. Dirty Jobs is actually a funny show and kids can watch too(probably age 5 and up) to learn about work ethic and information on the types of jobs out there. Kids (and adults) can actually learn alot from this humorous tv show. And, although there is some adult humor thrown in from Mike, the host, most kids aren’t really going to get it and it’s not going to have any effect on them at all. They will probably just laugh because you are laughing.

I give this tv show, Dirty Jobs, a big thumbs up. I think its great. I watch it and as a mom I recommend it for fun. And, come one, moms, the host is too cute to pass up.
